Friends of York Walls are pleased to announce their second public meeting is to be held at 7pm on Monday March 21st at the Bar Convent, Blossom Street, York.
We are very pleased to announce the main speaker will be Dr Keith Emerick (Inspector of Ancient Monuments, North Yorkshire & City of York, English Heritage). The event is free but places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Please email email@example.com to reserve you place.
The Lord Mayor is to walk around the city walls from Bootham Bar to Monk Bar and finally along Lord Mayors Walk to inspect the walls.
The walk will take place at 2pm on Thursday 17th March. We are looking for volunteers to help steward the event on the day. If you are interested, please contact us.
